As Director of Facilities Standards Service, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Construction & Facilities Management, Office of Facilities Planning, Donald Myers oversees research and development of planning, design, and construction standards for all VA projects. The standards reside in the VA Technical Information Library (TIL), the most comprehensive and integrated single source repository of information related to healthcare, memorial, and other Veterans' service environments.
Myers’ 25 years of public service is based on more than 25 years’ experience in architectural practice, applied research and a personal commitment to serving the public trust and our nation's Veterans. He is a graduate of Kent State University and The University of Virginia and a licensed Architect in multiple jurisdictions.
