Edmund Novy manages the corporate sustainability and environmental compliance efforts with Alamo Group. From 2018-2021, he served on the California Public Utility Commission's Energy Efficiency Procurement Group, which reviews and advises on nearly $600 million of third-party energy efficiency program solicitations. In 2018, Novy completed his master's in sustainability at Harvard University.
As his capstone project, Novy developed a Sustainability Action Plan for the Haitian foundation, Fondation Enfant Jesus. Novy currently serves as Treasurer for the Environment and Culture Partners, which accelerates energy efficiency and climate change efforts for museums, zoos, gardens and aquariums. He also served on the Board of Directors for the U.S. Green Building Council-Los Angeles chapter, where he held the leadership roles of Treasurer, Vice Chair and Interim Deputy Executive Director. He is a Senior Fellow in the Environmental Leadership Program, which utilizes principles of inclusion to catalyze sustainability solutions. In addition, he is an Envision Sustainability Professional (Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure), a Fitwel Ambassador (Center for Active Design), and a LEED Green Associate (U.S. Green Building Council).
