
Michelle Cohn, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, PMP, joined the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB) in 2014 and serves as the Assistant Vice President of Examination. She has experience on all aspects of exam development and operations, including work with the volunteers on NCARB’s exam-related committees and support for candidates currently testing. Cohn also participates in council outreach efforts to universities and the profession, promoting the value of licensure to candidates throughout the licensure process.
Prior to joining NCARB, Cohn has over a decade of architectural experience. Her work as a designer, project architect, and project manager included institutional, mixed-use, residential, and affordable housing projects across all phases of design and construction. Originally from the DC area, Cohn earned a Master of Architecture degree from Tulane University. She’s a licensed architect in Washington, DC, holds the NCARB Certificate, and is certified as a Project Management Professional.
