Monika Serrano leads the resilience program at Turner Construction. She has held roles in all phases of the construction process in her 16 years in the industry. Serrano considers climate change one of the biggest threats to humanity and is constantly pushing the bar in the aspects of resiliency, climate adaptation and mitigation. She is a past USGBC NJ chapter board member and a Climate Reality Project leader.
Serrano has presented at various venues on the value of resilience, resilient projects case studies, sustainable design and construction and adaptation for resilience. She constantly collaborates with folks in the design, engineering, construction, risk and insurance industries as she believes in the power of partnerships to move the needle towards a vital world.
