AIA, Project Architect on NeoCity Academy, and Principal, Little Diversified Architectural Consulting

Philip Donovan is the Community Studio principal for Little Diversified Architectural Consulting in Orlando, Florida. Philip’s experience over the past 14 years has been deeply rooted in the design of high-performance, zero-energy learning environments that are focused on the health and well-being of the building occupants. He has served as a project architect on three net-zero energy elementary schools including Discovery Elementary School in Arlington, Virginia. He is project architect of NeoCity Academy, which is the first net-zero energy school in Florida. 

Philip is president-elect of the Florida Chapter of A4LE and is a member of the Mount Dora Historic Preservation Board. Philip also has served as the associate chair for the Virginia State AIA as well as the Central Virginia chapter of the AIA where, in both positions, he helped found and foster a statewide mentoring program for rising architectural interns. Over the past several years, Philip served as a technical peer reviewer for the Advanced Energy Design Guide for K-12 Schools: Achieving Zero Energy as well as a book reviewer for the USGBC’s Center for Green Schools.
