Suvendu Bhutia is an experienced Engineering Leader currently working with Johnson Controls OpenBlue Digital Products and Services. Bhutia’s work focuses on developing smart building solutions for safe, sustainable, and energy-optimized buildings. Before joining Johnson Controls, he spent 18 years at Ford Motor Company, leading software engineering solutions in automotive connectivity, telematics, and Data Services.
Bhutia has an MS in Information System & Technology from the University of Michigan and a BS in Computer Engineering from India. He also serves as an Adjunct faculty at the University of Michigan, teaching SAP ERP Systems and Data Analytics.
