Health Scientist, 9 Foundations

A healthy buildings practitioner, Maya leverages environmental health principles to support projects across the 9F Health Science Team and sustainability initiatives at 9F. From research and project coordination to data analysis and developing reports and guidance for clients, Bliss plays a crucial role in ensuring success and smooth operation for client programs. Prior to joining 9F, Bliss was a research coordinator for Harvard’s Healthy Buildings Program, where she supported the execution of the Global COGfx study and the launch of the Home/Work study. While a graduate student, she utilized data science to create a web tool to support environmental justice.

Bliss received her Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health and Bachelor of Science in Health: Science, Society, and Policy from Brandeis University.
