Driving building performance through the lens of LEED v5 O+M

Join the U.S. Green Building Council and industry experts for a discussion around the next iteration of the LEED green building certification system for new construction and existing buildings, LEED v5. As part of this new rating system, we have gathered a select group of project teams across diverse projects to provide critical feedback and support in shaping the system. USGBC intends to drive the built environment toward a low-carbon future that is equitable and resilient and promotes the wise, safe utilization of all resources.

In this interactive session, speakers will take attendees on a guided tour of the new structure of the rating system. Additionally, this session will feature an in-depth understanding of the integrated approach to addressing the key issues of scale, decarbonization, health and wellbeing, resilience, equity, biodiversity, and other goals that are driving the development.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer insights as they learn more about USGBC’s work to create an end-to-end ecosystem for green building.

This version of LEED results from deep and meaningful conversations with the LEED community and is fueled by an urgency to address the most pressing global concerns. It represents what we have heard from volunteers, members, stakeholders, and many others about the needs driving business decisions across the built environment. Join us, as we dig into this system and how it will support your building operators, owners, and sustainability professionals take building performance to the next level.
