South Africa’s Eastern Cape Province serves as the location for a project to assess the contribution of an innovative sanitation system for the sustainability of a rural community.
The project was developed in an area, where there is a lack of bulk infrastructure. The government relied on innovation to bring this solution that is claimed to be sustainable, and a study was conducted to assess this claim.
