Amy Gelsone specializes in building enclosure commissioning, investigation, auditing, and testing, with a project history ranging from Italy to Hawaii and across six climate zones. Her expertise includes design review, performance criteria development, failure cause/extent analysis, and litigation support. In addition to the BEST6 Conference Technical and Education Committees, she currently serves on: ASTM Committee E06-55 – Performance of Building Enclosures and as Co-Chair of Task Force E06-55.1-0 – Routine Maintenance of Building Enclosure Systems; the leadership board for the Research Triangle chapter of the Building Enclosure Council; the BETEC/AIA Knowledge Committee on Building Science Education; and NCARB’s Education Committee.
